Brennan T. Price

Associate

Mr. Price concentrates in the Firm’s Intellectual Property practice area, representing a variety of plaintiffs and defendants in patent and other intellectual property litigation.  He advises clients on matters involving intellectual property acquisition and infringement analysis for patents, trademarks and trade secrets.  He also advises clients on a variety of contract and complex litigation issues.

Representative work includes analysis of pharmaceutical patents and regulatory considerations for generic drug manufacturers considering entering the market for a branded drug.  Mr. Price has also advised a major sports apparel marketer and a major printing company on patent infringement and litigation.

Mr. Price has extensive training as a chemist, having earned his B.A. in chemistry, cum laude, in 1992 and his M.S. in chemistry from the Georgia Institute of Technology in 1995.  He earned his J.D., with honors, from the University of Connecticut School of Law in 2005.  While at UConn, he served as an Executive Editor of the Connecticut Law Review and was elected a member of the Connecticut Moot Court Board.  With teammates, he won the David H. Neiditz Professional Writing Award for the best brief submitted in moot court competition.  He is currently a member of the intellectual property and antitrust sections of the American and Connecticut Bar Associations.
