Jay B. Sitlani

Associate

Jay Sitlani is an associate in the firm’s Washington, DC office and has a patent litigation and counseling practice.

Mr. Sitlani’s practice focuses on patent and regulatory issues unique to brand name and generic pharmaceutical industries which includes patent litigation, patent procurement, client counseling on patent infringement and validity issues, as well as all aspects of drug and biologic approvals by the Food and Drug Administration.  He is licensed to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.

Mr. Sitlani has substantial experience counseling clients on all aspects of the Hatch-Waxman Amendments to the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act as they relate to drug development, patent litigation, and market exclusivity strategies. 

Prior to joining AVH, Mr. Sitlani practiced in the Washington, DC office of Heller Ehrman LLP.
