Stacie L. Ropka, Ph.D.
Associate
Stacie L. Ropka's practice focuses on all aspects of intellectual property including patent litigation, patent prosecution, and preparing patentability, infringement and patent validity studies, particularly in the biotech and pharmaceutical arts.
Ms. Ropka received her J.D. degree, magna cum laude, from Syracuse University College of Law in 2005, and is a member of the Order of the Coif. Ms. Ropka earned her Ph.D., with honors, in microbiology/immunology from Upstate Medical University in 1999. In 1984 she received her M.S. in biological sciences from DePaul University where she also received her B.S. in biology. While attending law school, Ms. Ropka was a research associate with the Technology Transfer Research Center at Syracuse University College of Law where she did market analyses for various biotechnologies and identified potential licensing partners for several clients.
