Matthew J. Galluzzo
Associate
Matthew Galluzzo is an associate in the New York office. His practice is focused on antitrust and litigation.
Prior to joining AV&H, Mr. Galluzzo was an Assistant District Attorney in the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office. During his six years with the Manhattan D.A., Mr. Galluzzo investigated and prosecuted a wide range of crimes including rape and sexual assault, narcotics, firearms, identity theft and other felonies. He was the lead prosecutor on eleven felony trials that went to verdict – securing convictions in nine – and served as his bureau’s supervisor for domestic violence prosecutions. Also, he assisted in the investigation of homicides and argued numerous criminal appeals before the New York State Appellate Division, First Department.
At Northwestern University School of Law, Mr. Galluzzo worked as a teaching assistant for a Negotiations course taught to both law students and graduate business students from the Kellogg School of Business. He also worked as a research assistant for an antitrust faculty member.
