AVH Obtains Antitrust Clearance for Rent-Way, Inc.'s $567 Million Acquisition by Rent-A-Center

AVH represented Rent-Way, Inc., a leading operator of rent-to-own stores based in Erie, PA, in Rent-Way's acquisition by rival Rent-A-Center, Inc. The transaction was valued at $576 million. AVH attorneys Stephen Axinn, Michael Keeley and Michelle Seagull led AVH's successful efforts before the Federal Trade Commission to avoid the issuance of a second request.
